Vivarium

INTRODUCTION

The Scintillon Institute’s secure vivarium comprises a state-of-the art facility that houses murine research species, surgical suite, and rodent behavioral core. It is OLAW certified and complies with all Federal, state, and local safety mandates. It has a track record of being pathogen-free and suitable for a wide range of studies. It is available for internal investigators, not-for-profit outside investigators, and for-profit companies.

(a) Non-Profit Collaborator Rate = Internal cost-per-unit, including overhead applied at 92.0% (e.g. 2017 approved indirect cost rate).

(b) For-Profit Collaborative Rate = Internal cost-per-unit, including overhead applied at 92.0% (e.g. 2017 approved indirect cost rate), plus a shared service management fee equal to 7% of the direct & indirect per-unit-cost of each shared service.
