Scintillon Institute welcomes the 25th Cytometry Development Workshop, Tutorials, and Cells, Sensors, and Systems Symposium. The goal of these events is to bring together scientists and engineers working to develop and apply new technologies for cell analysis.

Check out the gorgeous recreation of Sarrah Romero's original art contest entry from the SD Science & Engineering expo in March.  It's amazing what a little highlighter, fluorescent protein, and science education can create.  Way to go, Sarrah!!!!

Scintillon Institute investigator Dr. Nathan Shaner, in collaboration with colleagues at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, has published a paper in PLoS ONE describing the discovery of a major clue about how marine organisms produce light.
