Morning – Lectures
The morning session will include lecture-based overviews of EV research and methods, minimum Information and reporting guidelines, and single vesicle measurement technologies. Tentative Agenda:
- Overview of EVs, EV research, and EV methods
- Biofluid fractionation and EV enrichment
- Single EV measurement: Instruments and assays
- Single EV FC: Guidelines and examples
Afternoon – Lab sessions
The afternoon sessions will feature hands-on lab modules to demonstrate essential aspects of single EV measurements, with an emphasis on multiparameter analysis by flow cytometry and the recently developed guidelines for reporting EV FC analysis methods and results. Tentative Agenda:
Lab 1 – Nanoparticle counting and sizing: RPS and NTA
Lab 2 – EV detection and sizing by FC: Light scatter
Lab 3 – EV counting and sizing by FC: Fluorescence
Lab 4 – EV immunofluorescence by FC
